Fromoville | Bob Ross Parody inspired Metaverse

Project details match catalog

About

"Fromoville is my boundless playground of imagination and innovation; the Bobbershop is the next phase of the build. It's a place where I not only honor Bob Ross and his son Steve, but a canvas for my own artistic legacy and a place I host others.

Impact

I'm shattering the idea of technology being impersonal in the metaverse. I'm determined to usher people into the metaverse through storytelling and adventure. Last October, a group of 25 people gathered in Fromoville to sing Bob Happy B-Day!

Progress

Fromoville is already an award-winning Mona space and I've hosted a number of highly populated events of my own and been a stage for other communities looking for a place to gather.

Team

I've been building Happy Little Hairdos since 2014. The space I'm building shows my passion and understanding of the impact of a virtual space. I've been an avid gamer since I was 8 years old and have seen growth from Atari to current gen consoles.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
